Working Together

If you make the decision to choose MC Designs for your wedding invitations and enclosures, your wedding day signage and any other items I create, I want you to feel relaxed and excited for your big day.

From the time we begin working together, you and your partner will be the centre of the planning process and I want to create a joyous and collaborative stationery planning process that takes all the stress off your shoulders so you can concentrate on other things. Using both our in-depth discussions and my creativity, I will give you some design ideas for all your stationery needs, and together we will agree on a final design which will truly reflect you as a couple and your vision for your wedding day.

How I work

Step one

Once you have agreed to receive information from me via email by completing an initial information form, I will send to you my (i) What to Write on Your Wedding Stationery© and (ii) How to Set the Best Guest List for your Wedding© workbooks which you will complete with your partner.

You will then email your completed part (i) workbook back to me and I will go through this as it will enable me to build a fuller picture of your love story!

I will then contact you to make a follow-up appointment to go through and confirm all your requirements for your big day and to ask any questions that I may have or indeed for you to ask any questions that you may have.

Part (ii) workbook – this is for you to gauge exactly how many invitations and any other stationery items that you will be needing for your wedding day.

Step two

We will then go through the packages or individual items and reach a decision that will best suit your wedding day requirements. Once this decision has been made, a 30% deposit will be required to secure your date and legal forms to be signed.

Step three

Now for the fun part of this journey...once I have gathered all the meaningful details of you as a couple, I will produce a couple of samples which I will email through to you. We can then either correspond via email with any further suggestions or tweaks that you may wish to have.

Step four

Once your final design has been agreed by you, I won’t require any further information until at least 2 months before you require your stationery items by (e.g. 2 months before you intend to send out your invitations, and 2 weeks before your wedding day for signage). Please do however contact me sooner as and when you decide on wording as I can add this to my order book at any time.

Step five

10 days prior to posting your items to you, I will submit my final invoice to you for settlement via PayPal or BACS bank transfer which I will require prior to your items being delivered to you. Once settlement has been received I will proceed to final step six.

Step six

Hurray! 1 week before the agreed date, your items will be ready for posting out to you, unless you live locally, for you to collect directly from me. All stationery that requires delivery will be sent to you by recorded/signed for next day Delivery with appropriate insurance to cover any costs should anything untoward happen to your items during transit.

…and finally

  • Enjoy your big day. I've no doubt your guests will be beyond impressed with your attention to detail!

  • Please send me any professional photographs of your signage from your big day

  • ........And don't forget to leave me a lovely review!
